Amie Kurian

At Pyramid: 

Amie blends conceptual thinking and a passion for great design to help anchor the creative presence in Pyramid's Portland office, where she designs print, interactive, and multi-media materials. Most recently, Amie has been involved in the creation of a Youth SummerWorks video for Work Systems, a foreclosure prevention campaign for 211 info, and logo development for Design to Learn.

After Hours: 

Amie spends her free time running the trails surrounding her NW Portland home, planning her next cycling adventure, and holding tea parties with her 2 year old daughter.

Background: 

Before joining Pyramid, Amie spent ten years working in advertising agencies where she honed her art direction and design skills at firms like Ignited, Point to Point and BVK. Amie has also created numerous award-winning campaigns for clients, including United Way, SONY, and Sherwin-Williams. Her work has been featured in Print's Regional Design Annual, the OneClub Showcase and the National Addys. Amie holds a bachelor of fine arts degree with a graphic design concentration from the University of Michigan Ann Arbor.
