Brent Andrew
As managing director, Brent directs all aspects of Pyramid’s San Francisco office. He brings both professional acumen built on 25 years’ experience and a long history of service to the Bay Area community. This singular combination of service rooted in the community and value-creating management experience drives Brent’s work at Pyramid.
Brent loves nothing more than cooking for friends and family—and doing his fair share of eating while he’s at it—and adhering to one guiding principle: no one leaves his house hungry. When he can, Brent also loves getting into California’s Sierras for hiking, camping, kayaking, snowshoeing and other outdoor recreation.
Brent most recently directed branding, marketing, communications, events and online presence for Grace Cathedral, a venerable San Francisco institution since the Gold Rush. He has provided communications counsel to corporate executives in the energy, computer software and telecommunications sectors, and directed corporate strategy in the mobile telephone boom years. He’s also developed and executed branding for iconic corporate and nonprofit institutions and has served as a speechwriter and ghostwriter for numerous political candidates and corporate executives.
Brent holds a bachelor's degree in history from the University of California at Berkeley and graduate degrees in public policy and management from Duke University’s Terry Sanford Institute and the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.
