At Pyramid:
Denise conducts communications assessments, creates compelling messages and develops communications strategies to help organizations advance their good work. She has created communications and marketing plans for a range of organizations, including nonprofit hospitals, government agencies and community development organizations. Some of her clients include Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, PeaceHealth, Casa Latina and Evergreen Business Capital.
After Hours:
Denise can be found chasing butterflies in the North Cascades, taking yoga classes, traveling to Oaxaca to learn about human rights abuses, trying to make her garden grow, or researching and having conniptions about current politics. Otherwise, she maintains a regular ritual of sharing a delectable meal and a glass of wine with good friends.
Background:
Prior to joining Pyramid, Denise was an independent information consultant in Portland, Ore., providing research and writing services to authors, publishers and corporations. Denise holds a bachelor’s degree in religious studies from Reed College.
