At Pyramid:

John spends a majority of his time as a senior advisor on some of Pyramid’s most complex and visible projects. Helping craft strategy and working with Pyramid’s senior management team, John has led a campaign to enroll descendants into an Alaska Native corporation, implemented a community campaign in support of Seattle Art Museum’s expansion and worked on the development of a strategic plan for the Seattle Public Schools. John thrives on crafting solutions to what sometimes appear to be unsolvable issues.

John founded Pyramid Communications on his belief that a company could be successful working only for good causes. Sixteen years later, he remains focused on giving voice to good causes.

After Hours:

John spends countless hours tending to his garden, where he gets great satisfaction from pulling weeds and moving things around that don’t talk back. He also continues to pretend he is ageless by riding his bike to work every day, playing mediocre squash and tennis, and running through the neighborhoods of Seattle.

Background:

John has served as a political consultant during five presidential campaigns and as a strategic planner and fundraising consultant for numerous local, state and national initiatives.
