Laura started her career in graphic design. Her creative background gives her a holistic perspective and expertise in a variety of design disciplines. She specializes in brand strategy and loves helping organizations tell their story in a way that delights and empowers their audiences.
As a project lead, Laura uses the lens of sustainability to drive innovation and deliver results. She helps clients find their voice and explore new ways to engage stakeholders, protect the environment and maximize growth. Recent clients include EcoDistricts, United Way of the Columbia-Willamette, TriMet and The W.K. Kellogg Foundation.
Laura finds inspiration in nature and is grateful to work alongside a talented team that shares her desire to create positive change. She loves to laugh, learn, ski, hike, bike, lounge, and play.
She is honored to serve on the Oregon Sustainability Board (OSB) and the steering committee of the Pacific Northwest Chapter of Women’s Network for a Sustainable Future (WNSF).
Prior to joining Pyramid, Laura was a creative leader at PricewaterhouseCoopers(PwC), where she created meaningful partnerships between c-suite executives, writers, technologists, visionaries and designers. Combining strategic imagination and thoughtful implementation, she encouraged her clients to dream big and then helped them realize their aspirations. In 2008, PwC recognized Laura's commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility with a National Chairman’s Award. She was also named Volunteer of the Year for her efforts around youth education with the Boys and Girls Club of East Los Angeles.
Laura holds a master’s degree in Graphic Design from California Institute of the Arts and a bachelor’s degree in Women’s Studies from the University of California at Los Angeles.
