At Pyramid: 

As leader of Pyramid’s editorial group, Leah works with the team of writers who give clients their voices. She also frequently directs complex print materials and brand development projects in collaboration with designers, photographers and illustrators.

Leah’s work largely draws upon her lifelong background in the arts. Her recent projects include the 2009 Healthy Community Report for The Seattle Foundation, the Seattle’s Office of Arts & Cultural Affairs report to the community, Anchorage Museum branding process and materials, messaging and communications planning for KEXP, brand evolution for On the Boards, and the Seattle Art Museum's community campaign.

After Hours: 

In 2001, Leah founded RIVET, a nationally distributed arts and culture magazine she edited until 2008. She is also a founder of the Shunpike, which helps small and mid-sized arts groups better manage the business aspects of art.

Background: 

Prior to joining Pyramid in 2005, Leah managed programs and marketing at Seattle Works, a nonprofit that builds community involvement among people in their 20s and 30s Before then she worked in the film industry, specifically the literary department at Brillstein-Grey Entertainment in Los Angeles. Leah hails from Detroit and earned her bachelor’s degree in English and creative writing from Northwestern University.
