Melissa Jennings

Interactive Project Associate
At Pyramid:

As a member of the interactive group, Melissa brings to Pyramid her experience as communications manager at the Foundation for Early Learning. Much of her focus at the Foundation was on online communications and outreach, and her activities included the creation of online newsletters, surveys and wikis.

Some of Melissa's recent clients include the Washington State Mentors, the Council for Children & Families, the Children’s Alliance, Evergreen Business Capital, At Lake Union Park and The Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle. As she brings very specific knowledge of the early learning arena and its audiences, her expertise bolsters the team’s efforts in content development and dissemination.

After Hours:

A transplant from Philadelphia, Melissa enjoys roaming the city of Seattle via foot, bicycle or bus. Most weekends she can be found on the soccer field, gardening in her p-patch or drawing at the studio.

Background:

Before joining Pyramid, Melissa spent several years in the nonprofit sector, mentoring college students and teaching art in an afterschool program. Prior to her work in the nonprofit sector, Melissa earned a bachelor’s degree in illustration with an emphasis in photography from Moore College of Art & Design.
