Michael Cuddy
Michael puts his 25 years of filmmaking experience to work on behalf of many Pyramid clients. He infuses projects with his strong sense of story telling, helping to build an emotional connection between the viewer and the subject. Energized by the interactive nature of new technologies Michael has successfully put small format cameras into the hands of young people, allowing them to explore and tell their story on behalf of the organizations they work with. Recent clients include the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, Pacific Science Center, Girl Scouts of Western Washington and The Seattle Foundation.
Michael lives in the Northwest because of all that nature offers. He’s climbed the volcanoes, skied the backcountry and sailed the sound. But mostly he enjoys his hiking trips with wife and their four nieces and nephew.
Michael hails from Washington, D.C. He worked in television journalism and on four public televisions series before his career in political media, which has included three presidential campaigns and dozens of congressional, senate and gubernatorial candidates. His work on behalf of the Clinton/Gore Creative Team was recognized in the Museum of Broadcasting retrospective on the most effective television advertising in presidential campaigns. His association with Pyramid began in 1999; six years later, he headed up the film and video group. Michael holds a bachelor’s degree in communication studies from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
