Sally Bock

Senior Vice President
At Pyramid:

Sally is a senior vice president who loves a big idea. Much of her work at Pyramid involves getting to the heart of a complex concept and putting together the right words, images and strategies to grab attention. Sally takes a disciplined approach to her work, carrying brand messages through web, print, media, advertising and events.

Sally’s clients have included the the Anchorage Museum, The Seattle Foundation, the Bertschi School and Giddens School.

After Hours:

With three New York City marathons to her name, she finds herself spending much of her non-work time these days running after her small children, Zachary and Beatrice. Thanks to them, she has learned all the lyrics on The Yellow Submarine album, that the English language is a devil to explain and some days just go better if you wear a little toile.

Background:

Before she joined Pyramid, Sally was director of development and marketing for the 52nd Street Project, where she once cooked 40 live lobsters for 15 kids from Hell’s Kitchen, 20 New York City theatre artists and two Academy Award winners in a single afternoon. Before then, Sally was director of communications for the Children’s Health Fund, for which she put on a Paul Simon concert at Madison Square Garden. And before then, she was a program officer for the Sega Foundation, where she managed a national grants program in the burgeoning Silicon Valley. Sally earned a bachelor’s degree in religion and art history from Smith College and a master’s degree in religion and literature from Yale University.
