Sarah Wilkes

Proposals Coordinator
At Pyramid:

Sarah oversees proposal development, from new proposal requests and project team coordination through the final drafts that project managers send to new and returning clients, making sure it all gets done on time. She also lends her writing, editing and research skills to a variety of internal Pyramid work, helping the business development team with marketing materials, and assisting project teams when needed.

After Hours:

An ardent film fan, Sarah takes advantage of Seattle’s many independent theaters and film festivals, catching as many flicks as she can at the Northwest Film Forum, the Grand Illusion and the annual Seattle International Film Festival. At home, she treasures her Netflix account and her proximity to local indie video stores. Outdoors, Sarah’s lately taken up container gardening, and is greening her thumb—and doing her part to support organic gardening and healthy urban food systems—at Seattle Tilth, where she is a volunteer.

Background:

Before joining Pyramid, Sarah did graduate work in U.S. history at The George Washington University in Washington, DC. While there, she specialized in American social and political history in the Cold War era, was a graduate fellow at the Eleanor Roosevelt Papers Project, and worked as a teaching assistant for undergraduate courses in American medical history. Sarah holds a master’s degree in U.S. history from The George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree in Classical Studies from Wesleyan University.
