Art of the matter
Seattle-based Arts Corps is a national leader in arts education, charging a stellar roster of teaching artists with the task of providing kids with opportunities for self-expression. Beyond art making, students also practice risk taking, persistence, discipline and critical thinking.
As Arts Corps’ communications partner, we’ve worked to express the creative, engaging heart of the organization across a range of print materials, including themed annual reports that spotlight Arts Corps’ innovative teaching theories.
In redesigning Arts Corps’ website, Pyramid sought to mirror Arts Corps’ mission in an active and engaging user experience. We created an animated piece showing how Arts Corps takes up the slack left by reduced arts funding in schools. Guided by strong high-level messages, the Flash-driven site also features a rolling gallery of student art, an Arts Corps donation channel and an online store. Voila: a dynamic online experience that delivers relevant information—with imagination.
