As the region’s premiere marine education and conservation institution, the Seattle Aquarium is not only home to school children and families, but is a respected institution that conducts critical research on endangered fur seals, sea otters, sixgill sharks and octopuses.
As the Aquarium’s communications and media partner, Pyramid provides ongoing support and helped launch its spectacular $40 million renovation and expanded exhibits in June 2007—a renovation that included the “Windows on Washington” exhibit, offering a 20-foot by 40-foot angled view of the dynamic marine life inhabiting Puget Sound.
The Aquarium’s newly renovated Great Hall and café make it a favorite “green space” for important policy discussions, lectures and events on the great environmental issues facing society—climate change, ocean health and endangered marine life. Pyramid partners with the Aquarium’s team of scientists and leaders to help tell its story as a treasured institution to explore, discover and learn about marine life.
