Schools that work

Center for Native Education

In response to soaring high school drop out rates and discouraging college completion totals in Native communities across the United States, the Center for Native Education pursues a bold vision—to make college attainable for Native youth within a single generation. It serves Native Americans by creating high schools that respect Native culture and uphold Native values. These schools allow students to take college courses without leaving their high school campuses. As it looked to develop programs nationally, the Center turned to Pyramid for support.

To help the Center achieve its goals, Pyramid designed a new logo, created a strategic communications plan and developed materials that would spur growth and appeal to a national audience. The Center for Native Education now operates early colleges in seven states and provides resources for network schools across the country, all with the goal of helping Native youth achieve academic success. Pyramid’s work for the Center helps illuminate the cultural relevance of early college study and the value of the Center’s academic rigor.
