Strength in numbers

Recognizing that improvements to America’s healthcare system for people with chronic illness requires the best thinking from the brightest minds, California Healthcare Foundation teamed with another Pyramid client—Improving Chronic Illness Care (ICIC)—to convene national leaders from around the country to share strategies and define success.

Pyramid supported development of the conference agenda, assembled an advisory group, handled all event logistics and materials development and helped moderate a portion of the program. Eighty professionals representing 17 states attended the two-day conference. Response to the program was encouraging—nearly every participant gave highly positive feedback. But most importantly, CHCF and ICIC achieved their ultimate goals: learn from each other about strategies for healthcare improvement and build expertise and collaboration among leadership.
